Good old waffles

This recipe makes waffles that are fluffy and crispy.

2 eggs
2,5 dl (1 cup) sparkling water
2 dl (1 cup) milk
100 g (3 oz) butter
3,5 dl (1½ cups) wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder

Break eggs to a large bowl and whisk them.
Measure and add the sparkling water and milk.
Whisk the ingredients until even.
Melt the butter.
Measure the flour and baking powder to another bowl and mix. Whisk the egg-milk mix while the adult adds the flour mix in to it.
Add the melted butter and whisk the batter until
smooth.
Cook the waffles with waffle maker and serve them whipped cream and fresh berries, sugar and icecream.

Tip
You can make also salty waffles by adding sliced
ham, cheese or chopped vegetables over the batter
just before you close the waffle maker.
